Our Philosphy

You’ll realise straight away that BoomerSuper is different.

When Ross established BoomerSuper in 2016 it was with a view to do things differently.

 

He made a decision to take a friendly and relaxed (no suits and ties!), yet professional approach to providing advice, and wants to be relate-able to the clients we work with. 

There are no high-pressure sales, and no sales targets and no product pushing - just genuine interest in you and what you want to achieve.  Our services are client focused, with integrity, care and excellence in all we do, as well as respecting individuals and the communities in which we live and work.

When Ross sees his clients on the street, he wants to stop and chat - because he knows each of his clients personally, with many living in our local community.

Our promise to you is that:

  • We will always take time to get to know you and understand you, your needs and what you want to achieve;

  • We'll always be transparent about fees and charges – there are no hidden fees or commissions;

  • We will always give you honest and realistic financial advice;

  • We want to make sure that you understand our advice, and feel comfortable with any advice we provide;

  • We will adhere to the Financial Planning Association’s code of conduct;

  • We will always put your best interests first;

  • We don't pressure you to agree to our recommendations – in fact, we will encourage you to read and understand the advice given at your leisure;

  • We will never encourage you to borrow money for highly speculative investments;

  • We don't act as stock brokers or look to "time the market" looking for short term gains – we believe you should invest when you have the money and sell when you need the money; and

  • We will not overstep the boundaries that apply to financial planners, both legislatively and morally.
